In short

Mandolu collects no personal data, from children or from parents. The app has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and uses no third-party tools that collect data. It works offline; the only connection is a purchase through the Apple or Google store.

Who is responsible for the app

publisher name, postal address, email: contact email.

What data we collect

None. The app never asks for a name, age, email address or any other personal data, and we have no server it could send anything to.

What stays on the device

The app saves on the device:

game progress, such as which games your child has finished, stickers in the album and keepsakes in the game world;
children's profiles: each profile is just an animal picture, with no name;
settings from the parent zone, such as volume and the play-time limit.

This data never leaves the device. We don't send it to ourselves or anyone else, and the app excludes it from cloud backups (iCloud and Google backup).

Purchases

The purchase of the full version is handled by the store, the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), under its own terms and privacy policy. We never receive payment details or store account details. The app only receives a confirmation of the purchase from the store and saves it on the device to unlock the full version. Purchasing and restoring a purchase are in the parent zone, behind the gate.

Internet connections

The app goes online only through the store's built-in purchase system, when a parent makes or restores a purchase. It doesn't download ads or other content and doesn't send any data.

Ads, analytics and tracking

There are none. The app has no ads, no analytics tools and no advertising identifiers, and we don't track users across other apps or websites. We use no third-party packages that collect data.

Crash reports

We don't collect them ourselves. Apple and Google may share crash and performance reports with app developers from users who have agreed to this in their device settings. These reports contain technical information (such as the device model, system version and where in the code an error happened) and don't let us identify who the user is. You can change this choice in your device settings.

Permissions

The app doesn't ask for access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location.

Children

Mandolu is made for children aged 4 and up. We don't collect personal data from children, so we don't ask parents for consent to process it, for example under COPPA in the US or the GDPR in the EU. Everything about purchases and settings is in the parent zone, behind the gate, and the app contains no links to other websites.

How long we keep data and how to delete it

We don't keep any data. Parents can delete the data on the device: "Start over" in the parent zone deletes a child's progress, and uninstalling the app deletes everything. The purchase is recorded by the store, so it can be restored on the same store account.

Your rights

We don't process personal data, so we have no data to give you, correct or delete at your request. If you have questions, write to us at contact email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

Changes to this policy

We will publish any new version of this policy on this page with a new date. If we ever wanted to start collecting any data, we would first change this policy and the app, and we would not collect data without the required consent.
