Parent zone

How do I open the parent zone?

Tap the small grey gear in the top right corner of the screen (in Mandolu's house, on the map or in a land). Then type the digits the gate shows as words, for example "seven, two, nine", on the keypad. After three wrong tries, the gate waits a minute.

How do I set a play-time limit?

In the parent zone, under "Settings", choose a time in "Mandolu's bedtime", or no limit. When the time is up, Mandolu yawns and falls asleep, with no countdown. Play continues when you tap "Wake Mandolu" in the parent zone.

How do I add a child or start over?

In the parent zone, under "Children on this device", you can add a child ("Add a child", up to four) and choose who is playing. "Start over" deletes one child's progress; their animal stays.

The sound is too loud, too quiet or missing

Under "Sound" you can set the music volume and the sound effects volume separately. Check the device volume too. Every game can be finished without sound, because everything important is shown on screen.

The animations are too much for my child

Turn on "Less motion" in the settings. If reduced motion is turned on in the device settings, the games always use less motion.

My child mixes up colors

Turn on "Color symbols on items". Targets such as baskets always have color symbols; with this setting, the items have them too.

Purchase

How do I buy the full version?

In the parent zone, under "The whole world of Mandolu", tap "Buy the whole world". It's a one-time purchase with no subscription. It opens Mandolu's Workshop and all the other games, including those added in future updates.

How do I restore my purchase, for example on a new device or after reinstalling?

In the parent zone, tap "Restore purchase". A purchase is restored on the same store account (Apple ID or Google account) it was made with.

Does the purchase work on my family's devices?

Android: the purchase works on every device signed in to the same Google account.

Privacy and devices

Does the game need the internet?

No. The internet is needed only to buy or restore the purchase.

What data does the app collect?

None. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. Details: privacy policy.

How do I delete the data on the device?

"Start over" in the parent zone deletes a child's progress, and uninstalling the app deletes everything. You can restore the purchase afterwards.

Which devices does Mandolu run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or later. The game plays in landscape.
